Bunnies and Barack

Last year, I spotted a female cottontail in my driveway every morning, digging and eating in the same spot. When I examined the shallow hole, I determined that she must be getting minerals, because nothing is growing there. She was always in the same spot, every morning. She stopped coming around later in the summer. Was she done raising her young? Or had she been eaten by something?

About a week or so ago, I noticed the shallow hole again, in the same spot. She's back! I saw her yesterday morning, digging and nibbling. I'm certain that it must be the same bunny; there are other rabbits around but how likely is it that one of them would find and dig in the exact same location?

Barack Obama clinched the Democratic Presidential nomination on Tuesday! I'm so excited; again, he's the first candidate to whom I've ever donated, or supported strongly. If you are undecided, or just want to know more, or want to donate to the campaign, you can check out Obama's website at: http://www.barackobama.com/index.php

I'm headed to New York and the Belmont Stakes tomorrow--GO BIG BROWN!!!!

Wow, you've had some fantastic wildlife experiences lately! The baby pronghorn is gorgeous, I don't know how you managed to spot it!
